July updates (Q2 2024)
Hi all, glad to see the growing number of listeners enjoying Echowalk. Truly it is has taken over from podcasts in my life, leading to various possible routes for the future including curation, queue sharing and content suggestions - as well as expanding out to support more formats (including video).
It seems that users have adopted Echowalk as an in-between solution to information overload - somewhere for browser tabs to close, but not get written off in a graveyard of bookmark folders.
We've been refining the system with bug fixes and longer context windows, reducing the amount of "jerky" speech that would sometimes arise as an artefact of long sentences.
If Echowalk continues to grow, we may build an app version to keep your phone awake and allow lock-screen controls (and car integration).
Let me know what you would like to see - EW
